#1 “Your face will be frozen and unnatural” - Your face does not have to be completely frozen or seem unnatural if you do not want it to. With proper dosages and placement of product, subtle movements are still possible and intact.
#2 “Once you start receiving injections you can’t ever stop or else you will have more wrinkles” - Neuromodulators only puts a temporary pause on the worsening of your wrinkles. Once you stop receiving injections, you will still be the same you but with months less of frowning or furrowing. You can choose to stop and start treatments at your own discretion.
#3 “Neuromodulators will reverse my wrinkles” - Although neuromodulators cannot reverse deep wrinkles that have already formed, with proper skin care and continuous treatment, they can be improved and prevented. When done in combination with dermal fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, platelet rich plasma and microneedling, and hydradermabrasion with hydrafacials, formed wrinkles can be dramatically softened.
The decision to have neuromodulator injections is extremely personal, and you’ll have to decide if the benefits of the injections outweigh the risks and potential complications.
